MSRP vs. Actual Price: How Do I Compare Pricing?

MSRP Vs. Actual Price

Manufacturer’s suggested retail price, MSRP for short, is the amount of money a vehicle’s manufacturer suggests a vehicle be sold for. Oftentimes, MSRP is used interchangeably with “sticker price.” Alternatively, the actual price is the amount of money that a buyer actually pays for a vehicle. Typically, buyers purchase below MSRP.

Our customers save money on vehicle purchases in numerous ways. Beyond offering monthly incentives and running promotions (like our annual 1010 event) where we discount vehicle prices, we also have an online price team that searches the internet to compare prices.

Miller’s Online Price Team

How do we ensure you’re getting the best deal whether you’re leasing or financing? It’s all part of our 5-Star Experience. Star #2 of our 5-Star Experience is Real-Time Pricing. You see, our vehicle prices are not “set it and forget it.” Instead, we have an online price team whose primary responsibility is to research vehicle prices online.

Miller’s online price team goes beyond making sure our vehicles are competitively priced; they ensure our vehicles are priced better. Because we want you to get a great vehicle at a great price. Our sales staff are non-commissioned, which means they do not have a financial incentive for you to spend more on a vehicle purchase. The price team at Miller Auto Plaza will even search the internet along with you so that we’re confident that you get the best price for the vehicle you buy.

Miller’s Price Match Guarantee

If you’re buying a new car, we have another incentive for you. Miller’s Price Match Guarantee means, if Miller cannot meet or beat the price of a new vehicle, they will give you a check for $1,000. It’s not a trick to get customers in the door, and it’s not too good to be true. It’s a way for Miller Auto & Marine to give our customers the best price on the new vehicle they want. You can check out the fine details of our Price Match Guarantee here

One thing that keeps our customers coming back is how open and honest we are about the pricing structure of the vehicles we sell. That’s because our top priority isn’t to sell you a vehicle for the highest amount we can. It’s to sell you the best vehicle for you at the best possible price.
